October 4-5, 2023
This course is an expansion on the battery element of our Introduction to Batteries This 2-Day course is intended for all personnel involved in the design, specification, and sale of the batteries to be used in critical power applications. It is a logical progression from the “Introduction to Batteries and Battery Maintenance” course. The students will be taught how to identify what the customer requirements are and to obtain all the information needed to design the required battery configuration. Once that is established, the student will be taught how to use that information to select the correct type of battery and then establish the capacity of the battery required. Once the battery has been sized, the only thing that remains will be to identify the correct rack or cabinet for the customer’s location. At the beginning of the course, each student will be given an outline requirement and will then select the required components as the lessons progress. The course will finish with a review and discussion of each student’s project.
This course is offered in-person and virtual. Contact us to enroll!
